
WILLOW JAROSH
Willow Jarosh holds a Master's of Science in Nutrition Communications from Tufts University's Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. She completed an intensive two-year dietetic internship at Tufts-New England Medical Center, in Boston, MA, before becoming a Registered Dietitian (RD). Her background includes one-on-one nutrition counseling as well as nutrition, health, and wellness presentations for large and small groups. Willow specializes in making nutrition information and concepts accessible, understandable, and usable. She has published various articles in major consumer magazines, newspapers, and a peer-reviewed nutrition journal.
Willow has seen nutrition enhance the quality of life for many people in a variety of settings. She has experience creating personalized nutrition plans to assist with general weight management and athletic training, as well as helping clients to manage specific medical conditions. She believes strongly in the importance of establishing and maintaining a comfortable counseling environment based on open, two-way communication.
Willow has designed and implemented in-school programs to encourage the development of healthful eating habits in elementary school children. She has consulted for a major university to maximize the nutritional quality of the foods offered on campus and to improve the eating environment in the cafeteria. Willow is an active member of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), Dietitians in Business and Communications, and Nutrition and Complementary Care. In addition to her passion for nutrition and wellness, Willow enjoys cooking and developing new recipes as well as hiking, playing soccer and tennis, and exploring the city with friends.
