IAN WINSCOM
After a stint in the music business, Ian decided to follow in his families footsteps and become a chef. After graduating culinary school, he spent the next couple years honing his skill at some of the world best restaurants, including the Michelin rated French Laundry and Bouchon. At his own restaurant La Terre in San Francisco, Ian was committed to sustainability and bought all his product from local organic family farmers. At 27 years old he has owned a recording studio, a children’s clothing store, a restaurant, and worked in brand marketing and as a web designer. He also managed an organic farm in Costa Rica. Ian is a self admitted tree-hugger, a believer in the benefits of the raw foods lifestyle, and is an advocate for bringing change into our schools lunch programs.
