Martin, writer of the blog, Xbox4NappyRash is a 30 year old born and bred Irishman, living and working in the Netherlands for the past 7 years.

A professional in the thrilling world of business and information technology, he started to blog about the early stages of the parenthood journey in the Summer of 2007.

By early stages he means the good bits, the jumping in and out of bed at the drop of a hat or fumbling with ovulation predictions kits..

Together for over 10 years with his wife of almost 3 of those, he documents the trying to conceive process as he sees it.

Over a year on and it's still no progress on the baby front, with dodgy sperm having been proven to be a stumbling block, he and his wife have taken the first steps with specialists as they face up to the reality that is infertility.
