SUMMER: THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY

What's your favorite thing about summer?

What's your least favorite thing about summer?

Favorite things: Ice Cream, Summer Thunder, and Sunshine. 
Least Favorite things: Speedos, Mosquitos, and Boob-Crack Sweat.

Favorite things: The best thing about summer is sleeping in with my kids and having a slow start to the day.  It works out great since on summer nights the kids stay up later do lots of fun things!

Least Favorite things: The worst thing about summer is how busy it is everywhere you go.  Everyone is traveling and on vacation at the same time.  It makes me want to vacation in October when everyone is back in school and sports!

Least Favorite things: My least favorite things about summer are humidity, southern-style mosquitoes, and less time for housework.

1. Cannonballs and little wet faces.
2. Sandy feet and beach hair.
3. Popsicles and lemonade, and lemonade stands.
4. Vacations far and near, complete with a summer hat.
5. Long days of sun, and nights cool enough to pull up the covers.

Least Favorite things:
1. The last few moments of a vacation.
2. Pool skin and chlorine hair.
3. Having to lather on the sunscreen, especially when I'm trying to get it on my son.
4. This summer, of course, it's the gas prices.
5. Realizing that the days are getting shorter again.

Favorite things: The beginning of summer vacation and a more relaxed lifestyle... and the end of summer vacation, when my daughter goes back to school and I can regain my routine.
 
Least favorite things: San Fernando Valley heat and smog. I must make more friends with people who live at the beach.

Least favorite things:  The guilt of being busy at work when the kids have no school commitments or distractions to keep them busy.
