TASTY TALK: TORI & DEAN

Congrats, we JUST heard about you newest little addition, Stella Doreen how exciting! Was the second time around easier on you pregnancy wise?
Actually the 2nd pregnancy was a little harder on me physically. Mainly because I'm a workaholic and didn't take a day off. I worked till 2 days before I gave birth. And, also because I have a 15 month old who just learned to walk. Chasing him around has been a lot. But, other than that I enjoyed being pregnant. It again was an amazing experience.
Constantly being in the spotlight from such a young age and now being on a reality series; do you ever wish you could have more privacy?
Privacy is something our family doesn't get a lot of. That's hard sometimes. I guess I just wish their was a happy medium. I would settle for paparazzi not hanging outside our house. Our home is our sanctuary and that just feels intrusive. Other than that we are always very gracious to the press.
After having your son Liam, you got back to your rockin' body so quickly. What tips would you give other mothers looking to get back in shape after giving birth?
Do it on your own time! Don't panic that right after birth you have to jump right into a diet and workout routine. Just relax and enjoy your baby. When you feel ready then start to slowly get on a diet program and a healthy workout routine that's right for you. Everyone has a different pace.
How do you juggle being a mom, wife, running a bed and breakfast with Dean, and make it look so easy? What are your secrets?
I'm the type of personality that loves having a million different things on my plate at once. I strive in chaos! Ha ha! But, my rock is Dean. I feel if your relationship is strong, healthy, and happy then you can tackle anything and make it look easy. Plus having a supportive husband who's a hands on dad doesn't hurt!
I know it's a little soon to think about... But now that you're a mother of two, a son and a daughter, do you think that there are more children in the future or is your family of 4 just right?
Creating life and family with your soulmate is an amazing experience and the ultimate fulfillment. We are blessed with 2 healthy beautiful babies. If its in the cards, we would love to have more. The family we've created is everything to us!
You and Dean are really good about eating healthy organic food. Has it been easy going green with Liam?
When we had babies we tried really hard to do the research on environmentally friendly products and switch over for their health. We have loved Going Green! And, whenever possible we make sure Liam eats organic. Its important to us.
Seeing you with Mimi La Rue (your adorable pug) on your reality series, showed fans how maternal you are. Do you think having a pet before having children prepared you for motherhood?
Nothing can prepare you for motherhood! Its truly an unique experience. However, because I used to always dress Mimi in clothes, I guess that help knowing how to dress such a little being. Sadly Mimi passed away recently and I miss her everyday. She truly was like a first child to me.
Being active in the animal world, you are associated with the Dogster Inc. What other causes or passions are you interested in?
I'm very big into Animal Rescue. I work with Much Love Animal Rescue and Best Friends Animal Society. I also recently started working with KIDS... Kids in distressed situations. Its an amazing charity and being a mom its near and dear to my heart.
You wrote a book telling fans about your whole life. Do you think that has made you a stronger person today?
Life lessons have made me a stronger person. My book made me a free person. I had so many stories and thoughts kept inside for so long and writing my book was a cathardic and freeing experience.
And here's the question we ask everyone: what makes you "tasty?!"
I think my love for life, people, and my own personal normalcy makes me "tasty". I grew up in a very jaded town and a very opulent lifestyle yet I consider myself very down to earth. I strive to create normalcy for my family. I want to give them a life based on love and emotional support. That's Tasty I think!
