DAVID IINO
David Iino is Executive Chef at McCormick & Schmick’s – A Pacific Seafood Grill in
Beverly Hills, where the menu is based on availability of product and seasonality.  Iino focuses on local seafood from the Pacific and always looks for sustainability and freshness, never serves frozen fish and tries to limit use of farmed-raised fish.  M&S buys organic produce and Iino often goes to Farmer’s Markets to find seasonal items.  Fish comes directly from the source – often right from the fisherman and the boats they come off.  Prior to A Pacific Seafood Grill, Iino was the Executive Chef at Café del Rey in Marina del Rey, opened Napa Valley Grill in Westwood and the L’Ermitage in Beverly Hills.  He studied at The California Culinary Academy in SF.  David and his wife Jennifer, also an accomplished cook, have two children, Samantha (4½) and Kennedy (5 months).   As a family of two chefs, they made all of Sam’s baby food fresh and plan to do the same for Kennedy, and they find it gratifying to have a child who has tasted most everything and has already opened up her palate.
