ECO-FRIENDLY WREATH PROJECT
brought to you by Tinker

We know that you try to use your reusable tote when you go to the grocery store these days, but if you are like us, you still seem to have a collection of plastic bags around. So let's make a Fall wreath out of them!
Things you will need:
One wire hanger

4-5 plastic bags

1 colorful piece of paper or better yet a real fall leaf or pine cone a piece of string.
Steps
First step:

- gather your plastic bags and cut them into strips. We used some brown and green bags from Whole Foods, but we had some fun red ones from Target too.
- We cut our strips so they varied from 6 to 8 inches, but you can do it however you like. Longer pieces make a fluffier wreath.
Second step:

- Next take your hanger and make it into the shape you would like it to be. The easiest is the diamond that we did. Just give the bottom wire on the triangle a little tug and you are all set. My friend who has far more patients than me made hers into a heart shape. Play around and have fun see what you come up with.
Third step:

- take your plastic bag strips and start tying them on the wire.
Ta -Da ! If your pieces were really long and the center of your wreath is really full then you are done! Ours had a nice space in the middle so we cut a leaf out and wrote "happy fall".

Be creative, look around your yard for a real leaf if you have 'em or a pine cone and tie a string on it to hang in the middle of your wreath.
Your wreath even has a handy built in hook at the top ( the top of the hanger) to make it easy to hang.
